YOUNGSTERS attending a summer holiday club have had a taste of the Caribbean - as well as sampling cultures from the rest of the world.
Eagley Out of School Club treated youngsters to a Caribbean extravaganza including games, treasures hunts, authentic cuisine and visits from representatives of the Bolton West Indian Centre.
The Caribbean day was part of a multi-cultural summer holiday club being held at Eagley Infants School in Bromley Cross.
Each day the, club is focusing on a different theme based around another country's culture.
So far, there has been a day of Gaelic gaiety and Australian bush tucker trials - which saw youngsters sampling exotic food such as squid, and an on-foot safari to the South Lakes Wild Animal Park where youngsters fed kangaroos and watched monkeys.
Staff at the club have been using a variety of items from the Multi Cultural Resource Centre in Bolton to help educate the children.
