Leigh Athletic 2 Old Alts 1: LEIGH Athletic season started well with a 2-1 home win over newly promoted Old Alts.
After going behind, Leigh suffered a double blow when skipper Keiron Halliwell went off because of injury, but they soon equalised through Danny Wilson and Steve Bevan hit the winner in the second half.
