CHART-toppers McFly are set to help switch on Blackpool's illuminations next month.
The band, which includes Bolton's Danny Jones, will join a host of stars in the famous seaside resort on Friday, September 3.
Among the line-up this year are Radio Two's Bolton presenter Mark Radcliffe, television's Fame Academy hit-maker Lemar, former Savage Garden lead singer Darren Hayes, '80s chart toppers Swing Out Sister, and the cast of Boogie Nights starring, Jimmy Osmond and Billy Pearce.
The star-studded line up will span four decades of music. This year, Blackpool celebrates 125 of the illumunations.
Cllr Eddie Collett, portfolio holder for regeneration and tourism, said: "Once again, Blackpool is set to stage a night to remember with something for the many generations of Blackpool Illuminations' visitors and residents."
The identity of the person set to flick the famous switch is being kept a closely guarded secret.
Blackpool Illuminations will shine nightly from September 3 until November 7.
