work on a new £5 million office complex in Bolton is on schedule and in budget, according to developers.
The doors to the three-storey development at the Navigation Business Park, Tonge Valley, Bolton, are due to open in November, and the the Hurstwood Group, the company behind the scheme, is confident it will meet its deadlines.
The centre will provide 40,500 square feet of flexible office space with purpose-built accommodation for part of the Children and Family Services Division of Bolton Metro's Social Services Department, and a hi-tech business centre for the Bolton Business Ventures Ltd.
Hurstwood senior project co-ordinator Stephen Glynn, said: "We are making excellent progress with the development at Navigation Park and I am pleased with the way everything is taking shape.
"At this stage, the building is watertight and we have started work on the internal fit-out. Everything is on or ahead of schedule and we are more than confident that we will be able to deliver the project on schedule."
The complex is the first of three planned phases of development on the site.
The company is currently seeking planning permission for the second phase, a complex of three two and three-storey offices. Each of the buildings will feature between 10,000 and 15,000 square feet of office space.
