LIVERPOOL'S Senegal international El-Hadji Diouf finally completed his on-loan move to the Reebok on Thursday afternoon, subject to work permit clearance.
Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce said: "It's a one year loan deal and we're very happy with it."
The £10m Anfield misfit will travel with the squad for the Premiership clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday, but is not expected to take part.
Allardyce will be hoping that he can help kick-start Diouf's career and help himrecapture the form which has seen him be named African Footballer of the Year twice.
"If he is willing to work hard and is ready to adapt to our coaching principles he will have the ability to become a top player at the club," Allardyce said.
"I firmly believe we can resurrect his career and give him the impetus to recapture the form that made him into one of the best footballers to come out of Africa in recent times."
