A CHARITY dinner is being held to help raise funds for 30 million people whose lives have been devastated by flash floods in Bangladesh.
The Nowab Restaurant on Market Street, Westhoughton, is holding the event as part of Global Disaster Support's national campaign to raise money to aid stricken families.
All proceeds from the sale of tickets and a raffle being held on the night will go towards providing food, medicine and clothing.
The event takes place on Tuesday, August 24, from 6.30pm.
Tickets are £10, which includes a banquet and entry into a raffle for a meal for two.
To book tickets, call the restaurant on 01942 811171.
