SINGER Badly Drawn Boy is set to play a second night in Manchester after tickets for his first show sold out.
The singer-songwriter - real name Damon Gough, from Breightmet - is playing at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, on Wednesday, September 8. He will now also play on Thursday.
Badly Drawn Boy's latest album, One Plus One is One, has been critically acclaimed. His recent shows at London's Royal Festival Hall were also well received.
The former Thornleigh Salesian College pupil has been hailed as "Britain's best songwriter".
His debut album, The Hour of the Bewilderbeast, won a Mercury Music Prize. Damon also played on the soundtrack of hit British movie About A Boy, following it up with the album, Have You Fed The Fish?
