YOUNG people will have the chance to have their say on policing issues at a youth conference in the Autumn.

A seminar is being organised by Greater Manchester Police at Bredbury Hall Hotel and Country Club in Stockport in November, although the exact date has not yet been finalised.

It will be the first time in two years that the youth conference has been held.

Top of the agenda will be how to improve the relationship between the police and young people.

Other issues for discussion will include Stop and Search, policing priorities for 2005/06, and the Crime and Disorder Audit consultation.

The last conference was held at the Printworks, Manchester, in November 2002, and was attended by 134 young representatives from across the region.
