FULHAM fear Jay-Jay Okocha can spoil their homecoming party at Craven Cottage.

The Londoners, back at their famous West London ground after two seasons renting at QPR's Loftus Road, are worried that the Wanderers skipper will do to them what he did to Charlton last week, if they don't keep him out of harm's way.

And centre-back Zat Knight voiced their concerns when he acknowledged: "There's no doubt he's one of the best players in the Premiership at the moment.

"But if we can make sure we don't give away any free-kicks around the box we might be in with a chance!"

Okocha, who failed to score in the Premiership last season, took just 10 minutes to open his goal account with a stunning free kick to give Wanderers a flying start against Charlton last week -- a touch of magic that has struck fear into his opponents.

"To be fair most teams have got someone who can take a good free-kick, but Okocha's particularly dangerous," Knight added. "He hit a great one on Saturday right into the top-corner, but if we can limit the free kicks in the centre of midfield then that will make it more difficult for him.

"I saw a few highlights of their game against Charlton. It was a great result for them, and they scored a few good goals. So we know it's going to be a tough game - they got off to a winning start and they're going to be flying."

Fulham have never lost to Wanderers in the Premiership but Knight says past results are no guide to future performances.

"Sam Allardyce always works a bit of magic every year and does the unexpected," he told Fulham's official website. "He brings in a mixture of big names and unknowns, and he's got a nice blend.

"I would put them in the same category as Fulham -- underdogs but capable of doing a decent job, and they finished in a good position last season.

"They'll want to capitalise on that and do better in the same way that we do, so it's going to be a big game for us. They had a good result last time out and we had a good ending to our match (a 1-1 draw at Manchester City) so I think it's going to be a really good game. If we can keep a clean sheet, I'm sure we can get a few goals up the other end and do well."
