AN art exhibition put together by people who have suffered mental illness is on display at Manchester's Urbis museum.
Art Works in Mental Health is a powerful exhibition made from 1,800 entries sent to the project by artists who have first or second hand experiences of mental illness. The project has given the artists the opportunity to express themselves creatively, depicting their own experiences and perceptions of the challenges they have faced.
The exhibition runs at Urbis until Saturday, August 28.
