ORVILLE the Duck creator Keith Harris has chosen the actress to play Goldilocks in this year's pantomime at the Albert Halls, Bolton.
Hundreds of people from all over the country applied for parts in Goldilocks and the Three Bears, which will run for six weeks this Christmas.
The part of Goldilocks has been given to professional dancer and singer Leah-Kate, from Buckinghamshire.
And two Bolton women, Jane Dean and Angela Murphy, have landed major roles in the show, which is expected to attract 30,000 people, as Baby Bear and the Fairy of the Forest.
Jane originally trained as a straight actress, but ever since learning to juggle, most of her professional work has been in comedy and circus.
Angela, aged 20, is a full time dance and drama student at Bolton Dance and Performing Arts College. She has appeared in many North West festivals and competitions.
The panto has been written by Keith Harris and stars Orville the Duck and the monkey Cuddles, whose catchphrase is "I hate that duck". It follows the adventures of Goldilocks, Keith and Orville as they try to persuade three bears hiding from an evil villain in a haunted forest, to come and join their circus.
