I AM writing to inform people about the Jubilee Centre, in Halliwell, Bolton.
The Jubilee Centre has been running for many years. Some people going there have had strokes, or are wheelchair-bound, and there are some with learning difficulties or other disabilities.
As the years have gone by people have tried to change the centre, but it has not worked.
People are very upset because of what has been going on.
There have been monthly meetings to see what will be happening to the Jubilee Centre.
However, when people asked whether it was going to close, they were told no one knew. When they asked if it would affect the people already there, they were told nobody would leave but it would change a little bit.
We are trying to cope with all disabled people who are very upset.
People have friends there, they do not want to lose the Centre.
