A PACKET of prescription drugs stolen during a burglary at a house in Farnworth is potentially lethal, police have warned.
The 20 amisulpride tablets were inside a handbag stolen from the property in Park Road on Thursday morning.
Police say the tablets could prove fatal if they are taken by anyone other than the person they were prescribed for.
They have been described as small, round, white tablets, similar in appearance to paracetemol.
Anyone who finds the drugs is urged to hand them in immediately to their local police station.
