TEENAGE Horwich Athletics star Katie Ingram won a chance to represent England in the fell running World Trophy next month in Northern Italy by coming first in the international trials at Braithwaite, Cumbria, returning in 24 minutes 30 seconds for the 3.5 kilometre course.
She beat runner-up Sarah Tunstall of Border Harriers by 150 yards with Cumberland's Gina Hewitt in third place.
Her Horwich club mate Darren Kay also hit top form again winning his third major race in 12 days, coming first home in the six mile Pilgrims Cross Fell Race, near Haslingden.
