COMEDIAN and teacher Dave Purdy will help run a ten-week comedy course in Manchester next month for budding comics.
Mr Purdy, from Little Hulton, will offer his experience from the stand up circuit to students, along with Justin Moorhouse, Toby Hadoke and Alfie Joey at the Briton's Protection pub, Manchester.
Twenty students will learn the tricks of the trade, receive expert feedback and they will be given the chance to perform in front of an audience.
A graduation night will take place at The Circle Club, central Manchester when the students compete against one another in a stand up competition.
The course will take place every Saturday between 12.30pm and 3.30pm from September 18, until November 20.
