HENRIK Pedersen has celebrated his international recall by declaring himself fit to continue in the Wanderers front line at Southampton on Wednesday.
The dashing Dane was having treatment for a thigh injury when he learned of his recall to the Denmark squad for the World Cup qualifier against Ukraine next month -- four years after he won his one and only international cap.
It was feared he could be struggling to make the Saints' clash, when he limped off just six minutes into the second half of Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Fulham. But he suffered only bruising to his thigh.
Pedersen, who won his only cap in a friendly against the Faroe Islands in 2000, admitted: "It came as a big surprise because it has been a while since I was last called into the squad."
