EAGLEY and Elton Vale won through to the semi-finals of the Goldline Trophy.
Eagley survived an anxious final few minutes to secure a 2-1 victory at Ashton Town.
Liam Carr put Eagley in front from the penalty spot and, with 15 minutes remaining, they made it 2-0.
Darryl Tagoe pulled one back for Ashton but Eagley hung on to make it into the last four.
Elton Vale took advantage of a disappointing display by Tempest United as they reached the semi-finals with a convincing 4-1 win.
The Bury side cruised through with two goals from Andrew Sensale, one from Stuart Stott and a Des Hutchinson penalty.
John Crossland replied for the Chew Moor side but it was merely a consolation.
The two remaining semi-final places will be decided when Blackrod Town take on Charnock Richard and Turton meet Atherton LR.
