AFRICAN textiles are the subject of a cultural new display at a Leigh gallery.
The "Paroles de Tisserands" exhibition at the Turnpike Gallery, is a tribute to a 1000-year-old tradition and presents handcrafted works from Mali, Morocco and Ghana.
The textile include plaits and cushions from Morocco, rugs from Mali, and blankets from Ghana. The display, which is part of the WOW festival, will be on show until September 18.
