A GARDEN opened to the public has raised nearly £1,000 for cancer charities.
The Heaselands garden at Entwistle was opened by Gill Bullow in June and July for the National Gardens Scheme, which helps cancer charities.
Sales of food and plants also raised more than £690 for Bury Women's Refuge, Bury Pipeline and church charities.
