A WATER watchdog has welcomed a Government u-turn which will ensure that water customers in the North-west are represented by a regional committee in the near future.
In July it was announced that the committee and office for WaterVoice North West, based in Manchester, would merge with those for Yorkshire and Northumbria, and be relocated to York. The decision has now been reversed following representations from WaterVoice and local MPs.
