DURING the last 12 months more than 700,000 doctor's appointments have been missed in the North-west.
Figures released by the Developing Patient Partnerships, a health charity, has revealed, from 1,322 doctor's practices in the region, 727,759 appointments were missed and 295,660 appointments with practice nurses were missed.
Most doctors felt the main reason for patients missing their appointments was that they forgot or began to feel better.
