HORWICH Town Council has approved plans for a storage hut to be built at a local primary school.
St Mary's RC School applied for the detached building to be used as storage for sports and outdoor play equipment.
The wooden hut will be built on grass in the Victoria Road school's grounds.
Councillors had concerns about the unit being too visible to Victoria Road residents and becoming a focus for youths.
They approved the plans with the condition that the school finds a new location for it.
Bolton Council will decide the application.
