A DECISION on plans to build more than 130 houses was deferred by town councillors while they wait for more information.
Westhoughton Town Council is due to make a recommendation to Bolton Council's planning committee on plans to build 133 houses on two former factory sites in Westhoughton.
Developers have been asked to submit a report on a possible badger population and flooding risk at the former Bellhouse Hartwell works on Leigh Road in Daisy Hill. Seventy-six homes are planned for the site.
Councillors are also waiting to hear the results of a traffic study in the Chew Moor area of Westhoughton, where developers want to build 57 homes on part of the empty Carnaud Metalbox factory.
