A LEARNING group will offer people the chance to become "e-citizens" after being awarded a £20,000 grant.
Westhoughton Adult Learning Project will offer computer courses at the Washacre Learning Centre, Greenfold Lane, to teach members of the public the skills needed to use the internet.
The group was handed the cash by the Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities Fund as will use the money to buy extra computer equipment.
One-day, half-day and taster courses are due to start in September.
