SALFORD'S chief police officer is set to quit his job and become the new deputy director for Salford Social Services.
Chief Supt Brian Wroe, aged 50, will start his new job in October to improve community cohesion. After 31 years service with the Greater Manchester police, he says his new job will be very similar.
