FORMER Spice Girl Geri Halliwell will flick the switch to launch the 2004 Blackpool Illuminations.
On Friday, September 3, BBC Radio Two will stage a spectacular show live from the resort fronted by presenter Mark Radcliffe.
Joining Geri on stage will be record breaking boy band McFly, television's Fame Academy hit-maker Lemar, former Savage Garden lead singer Darren Hayes, 80's chart toppers Swing Out Sister and the cast of "Boogie Nights" starring Jimmy Osmond and Billy Pearce.
The now legendary switch on ceremony will welcome a massive 15,000 revellers to a specially constructed arena opposite Coral Island.
Blackpool Illuminations, this year celebrating "125 Electric Light Years", will shine nightly from September 3 until November 7.
