AS a resident of Bolton for 30 years, I am really happy to hear about the new plans for the redevelopment of the Market Hall.
I can remember the Market Place when it first opened in the 1980s, and believe the Market Hall area of the shopping centre has been in need of restoration for many years.
I think the proposed redevelopment will give this area of the Market Place a new lease of life, which it so desperately needs.
I visit the centre regularly, and believe this area of the Market Place has got great potential for improvement. It will create a better shopping experience for old and young generations alike, which is much needed for the town of Bolton.
It is these kind of redevelopments that can strengthen a community and make people proud to live in Bolton.
I look forward to hearing the latest news on the redevelopment.
