PEOPLE are being urged not to tackle wasps' nests themselves.
The British Pest Control Association is warning people that in late summer wasps change their dietary habits, switching to sweet, sugary foods.
This change makes wasps more aggressive and brings them into closer contact with people. Unlike bees, wasps are able to sting repeatedly. The Association is urging people to leave getting rid of nests to professional pest controllers.
