THE largest one day event in the UK for Laurel and Hardy enthusiasts will take place this weekend.
The event will include rare footage from the hapless comedy duo's film career, including the Spanish extended version of the movie, Laurel and Hardy Murder case.
Lookalikes Stan Slade and Robbie Graham will be wandering among the audience performing magic tricks, and there will be a new sketch show performed by the Southend Sons of the Desert. There will also be memorabilia stalls, poster displays and screenings of some of Laurel and Hardy's short films.
The event takes place on Saturday, between 1pm and 8pm at the Concert Room, The Beer Engine, Poolstock Road, Wigan.
Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for children.
