GOLDLINE Trophy holders Atherton LR moved into the semi-finals of this season's competition with a penalty shoot-out victory at Turton.
The match had finished 1-1, with Tom Bowdon putting Turton into an early lead, and Paul Crompton equalising for the visitors before half-time.
LR -- of the North West Counties League -- kept their cool to win the shoot-out 5-4.
A late winner from James Price gave Charnock Richard a 2-1 win at Blackrod Town.
Price's 30-yard free kick was enough to eliminate last season's finalists.
Charnock Richard had led through a George Craddock goal in this all-West Lancashire League tie, but Andy Morris equalised for Blackrod five minutes from time.
LR and Charnock Richard join Eagley, of the West Lancs League, and Elton Vale, of the Manchester League, in the semi-finals.
The draw will be made during the half-time interval at Wanderers' match with Manchester United at the Reebok Stadium on September 11.
