EAGLEY secured their third successive West Lancashire League Premier Division win despite having to play for the last hour with 10 men.
Carl Grimshaw latched on to a through ball to crash home the decisive 65th-minute goal in a 1-0 win at Barnoldswick.
Eagley host Blackrod on Saturday, while the reserves travel to Norcross. Both games kick off at 3pm.
Gary Lovett grabbed a hat-trick for Eagley reserves as they beat Blackrod's second string 5-4.
