LET'S hope that Olympic boxing star Amir Khan is allowed to get on with his life in Bolton.

He's a Bolton Community College student with important assignments to finish as well as a talented amateur sportsman whom we all hope stays away from the professional ring just yet.

The lad is honest and wholesome and a great general role model for other youngsters.

Now, he needs to return to normality, keep his feet on the ground and listen to his parents and longtime boxing advisers about the way forward.
