TV chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is to appear at the Bridgewater Hall in October as part of the Manchester Food and Drink Festival.
An audience will see the presenter of Channel 4's River Cottage prepare recipes on stage from his new book, River Cottage Meat Book, on Monday, October 4, at 7.30pm.
He is also due to do a book-signing session after the show. The festival, in its seventh year, is being held from October 1 to 14 to celebrate the city's food and drink scene.
The festival, the largest of its kind in the UK, is set to be bigger than ever, lasting a week longer and featuring celebrity chefs, events in Manchester's restaurants, bars and cafes, farmers' markets and cultural food carnivals.
Tickets at £10, £12.50 and £15 can be purchased on 0161 907 9000 or online at www.bridgewaterhall.co.uk.
