A MAN has appeared before magistrates accused of being part of a deception at a Heywood company.
Kevin Charles Wilson, aged 53, of Tonge Old Road, Bolton, was at Rochdale Magistrates Court facing six charges of falsifying documents at Tetrosyl.
Joseph Michael English, aged 41, of The Northern Road, Crosby, also faces deception charges.
They were remanded on unconditional bail until September 24.
Wilson, who indicated through his lawyer that he would be admitting the offences, is said to have signed delivery notes in respect of pallet boards the company Tetrosyl had not received.
He is said to have signed delivery notes indicating 2,000 pallets had been received. when in fact only 1,596 had been delivered .
The breach of trust is said to have taken place during April ad May of this year.
Another man accused of being part of the deception, Joseph Michael English, aged 41, of The Northern Road, Crosby, who was delivering the pallets, has yet to submit a plea to six charges of knowingly making use of a document which was false or misleading.
Both men have been remanded on unconditional bail until September 24 when English will have to tender a plea and the magistrates will then decide whether the matter should go to the Crown Court to be dealt with.
