FIFTY young people were given the chance to be police officers for the day during a free event at Bolton Arena.
Called "Bolton Youth Together", it was open to all 13 to 19-year-olds. They had the opportunity to find out about the police and experience the different policing roles they had on offer. The teenagers also took part in team building exercises, games and art activities. The day was organised by Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester Police Authority and Government Office North West to improve relations with the community.
