Gateshead v Radcliffe Borough - STEPHEN Hill is hoping to return to the Radcliffe squad tomorrow - five days after breaking his nose.
The former Rochdale full-back suffered the injury during Monday's 0-0 draw at Leek.
But manager Kevin Glendon is confident that Hill will be able to play in tomorrow's Unibond Premier Division clash.
And the manager added that there would not be any need for one of the infamous face masks donned by stars such as Paul Gascoigne who have suffered similar injuries in the past.
Glendon joked: "I doubt there will be any need for a mask, but I suppose it might not do his looks any harm!"
Hill's return would be a boost for Borough after defender Gordon Armstrong was ruled out for 10 weeks with a broken arm, and Andy Heald picked up a hamstring inury which will keep him out for a fortnight.
Glendon believes that Borough are more than capable of winning at Gateshead.
He said: "We are confident of coming away with a win and we aren't too worried at this stage about our league position because no-one is too far ahead at the moment.
"We seem to be traditionally slow starters to seasons, but we have played some good sides so far this season in Burscough, Bridlington and Leek."
