ELTON clinched their first Bolton Association title with a seven-wicket victory at Golborne.

The Bury side, who entered the Association in 1994, have been leading the table for most of the season but were unable to shake off Darcy Lever.

But, with one match still to play, they finally put the championship out of Darcy's reach.
