BOLTON-based Euro-MP David Sumberg wants to hear from constituents who have had problems with British customs while bringing back duty-paid goods from other EU countries.
The MEP has been campaigning to stop customs confiscating goods and vehicles from British travellers legitimately bringing tobacco and alcohol into the UK .
He said: "I shall be happy to take up the case of any of my constituents who feel they have been unjustly treated by customs."
Current EU guidelines recommend acceptable levels for personal use should be up to 90 litres of table wine, 110 litres of beer, 10 litres of spirits and 8,900 cigarettes.
Mr Sumberg can contacted on (01204) 848314.
