A NEW hall is building a sense of community in Brazley, Horwich.
The newly built community centre in Cedar Avenue was finished in July and is now available day and evening, seven days a week, for use by the local community.
And, to celebrate the new centre, residents are holding an open day on Sunday, September 5, between 11am and 3pm.
It is already being used by a youth club, residents' committee and local councillors for their ward surgeries, but other groups who are interested in using the centre are being asked to come forward.
The open day will be an opportunity for residents to find out how they can benefit from the new building.
There will be refreshments and entertainment including Punch and Judy, face painting, table football and a cake and sweet stall.
