A SEARCH for a 37-year-old man from Bolton who went missing after claiming he had taken a overdose of tablets has been called off.
Kenneth Lord turned up at the Royal Liverpool Hospital last Tuesday at around 7.15pm and informed staff that he had swallowed 56 Warfarin tablets.
But he was reported to have left the hospital shortly afterwards, without having received treatment.
Police appealed for information on his whereabouts because without treatment, the drugs could prove to be fatal. A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: "Further inquiries revealed that Mr Lord did not leave the hospital of his own accord but was formally discharged."
