A FORMER mill could be demolished to make way for a mosque and housing development.
Developer Gosha Holdings wants to create a new building featuring a community centre and place of worship at St Paul's Mill on Barbara Street, Daubhill.
There would also be a number of homes built at the Bridgeman Street end of the site.
The building currently houses a mosque, industrial works and warehousing.
The developer has submitted an outline application seeking an agreement in principle that the application is acceptable to the planning committee. The committee is expected to consider the plan within the next six weeks.
