CORONATION Street swept the boards at the TV Awards ceremony.
Tina O'Brien, who plays young mum Sarah, won the best actress prize and young Samuel Aston, who plays Chesney Brown, was named best soap newcomer.
For two youngsters they are remarkably mature actors, and the awards are well deserved. Young Sam's performances as the little lad with the mother from hell have run the whole gamut of emotions - and that goes for the viewers as well.
