TWO adults and child escaped injury after a carpet in their house was set on fire in a possible arson attack.
Fire crews were called to a terraced house in Daisy Street, Daubhill, at 2am on Thursday after reports from the homeowner that a small fire had started in the porch.
The blaze destroyed a small section of carpet but was confined to the entrance of the house by firefighters.
