A TEENAGER'S two-year reign of terror over a community has come to an end.
Daniel Millington, aged 17, has been told he must behave or face up to five years in jail.
Millington's campaign of intimidation and harassment on the Hag Fold estate in Atherton led to two serious assaults, one of which left a 40-year-old passer-by with a broken jaw.
But his disruptive antics have now been brought to an end by Wigan and Leigh Housing, which successfully applied for an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) against him.
The two-year order bans Millington, of Car Bank Street, Atherton, from entering Car Bank Square or being abusive, unruly or intimidating throughout Atherton.
Cllr Keith Cunliffe, council cabinet member for community safety, said: "This case proves that we will not stand by and watch our residents go through hell at the hands of inconsiderate people. We have been given these powers to tackle anti-social behaviour and we will not hesitate to use them."
