SENEGAL star Khalilou Fadiga could still be offered a place in Allardyce's Premiership squad, despite a succession of reports suggesting negotiations had broken down.
The 29-year-old former Inter Milan midfielder took a swipe at Wanderers yesterday, claiming they had moved the goalposts during talks.
Fadiga had left the Reebok, where he had been training while his representatives negotiated with Bolton chiefs, saying he was looking elsewhere.
"We had a verbal agreement and the club have gone back on it," Fadiga's agent, Charles Collymore, told www.skysports.com.
"The offer made was not acceptable for a player of his proven ability by a long way."
But a Wanderers spokesman insisted: "Talks are still ongoing."
