A TRIAL has begun in Leeds of seven men accused of sexual offences following the discovery of a 14-year-old boy at an address in Eccles.
An investigation was launched after the teenager was reported missing from his home in Leeds in October last year.
The trial, which began at Leeds Crown Court yesterday, involves a 38-year-old Leeds man charged with abduction, incitement to commit indecency and two indecent assaults and a man, aged 40, from Eccles charged with abduction, living off immoral earnings, indecent assault and conspiracy to commit indecent assault.
Also in the dock are a 43-year-old man from Shropshire charged with conspiracy to commit indecent assault; a 49-year-old Rochdale man charged with conspiracy to commit indecent assault and gross indecency; a 40-year-old man from Bedfordshire charged with conspiracy to commit indecent assault; a 56-year-old man from Newton Le Willows, Merseyside, charged with conspiracy to commit indecent assault and a 66-year-old man from Leicestershire charged with conspiracy to commit indecent assault.
