A LORRY driver was taken to hospital after he was thrown from his cab during a accident on the M60.
The 46-year-old was at the wheel of his wagon when it jack-knifed at junction 17 at Whitefield at 2.20pm.
He was taken to Bury General Hospital with minor injuries.
Three out of four lanes on the M60 were closed so that the lorry could be removed from the carriageway.
