A FATHER-of-two who was found hanged in Leigh took his own life, an inquest has ruled.
Jeremy Charles Moon, aged 40, was found hanging at his home in Carders Close on March 21.
The hearing was told that driver Mr Moon had split up with long-term partner and mother of his children two-and-a-half months before his death.
She had been dropping their two sons off at Mr Moon's home at around 7am on the Sunday morning when she discovered his body.
Mr Moon had a history of depression and was on medication at the time of his death, coroner Jennifer Leeming was told.
A police investigation ruled out suspicious circumstances.
The medical cause of death was given as hanging and a post mortem revealed a moderate amount of alcohol in his blood.
Coroner Jennifer Leeming concluded that Mr Moon had taken his own life, but added that it had occurred "whilst the balance of his mind was disturbed".
