FIREFIGHTERS across Bolton paid their respects to the thousands of people who lost their lives in the September 11 tragedy in America three years ago. Fire stations across Greater Manchester flew the Brigade Flag at half mast between 8am and sunset and observed one minute's silence at the change of watch at 9am.
