CHORLEY completed the double over Kendal with this emphatic seven wicket win at Shap Road.
Rain delayed the start by more than two hours and having won the toss, Kendal surprisingly elected to bat.
The decision was a strange one and it soon looked a bad one as Stephen John removed both openers cheaply.
The only stand of any note in the Kendal innings came for the third wicket as Little and professional Khan added 55 before Khan was smartly run out by Billy Smith.
Little proceeded at a snail-like pace, eventually becoming Nicky Woods' first victim for 18 which occupied 78 deliveries and didn't contain a boundary.
The Kendal innings then imploded as Woods raced through the lower order to finish with 6 for 26 from just 38 balls, while John picked up 3/23.
Woods had less success with the bat, being bowled by Khan for three, but Tom Smith, in stands of 68 with John and 40 with Oakes, steadied the ship and was undefeated on 62 when Nigel Heaton hit the winning run.
The victory enabled Chorley to leapfrog Kendal in the table going into this weekend's final round of fixtures when Chorley travel to Blackpool.
Final score: Kendal 124 Chorley 125/3
